Cauliflower with Garlic-Onion Butter
1 stick of butter
1 cup diced onion
1 T. minced garlic
1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
Parmesan cheese, as desired
Brown the butter in a skillet. Add onion and cook until the onions begin to turn translucent, then add the minced garlic. Continue to cook until onion begins to brown. Stir often so the garlic doesn't burn.
In the meantime, place cauliflower florets in microwaveable bowl or steamer with 1/2 cup of water. Microwave on HIGH for 8-11 minutes. Drain water, if necessary.
Pour the cooked onion-garlic butter over the cauliflower and serve immediately. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, as desired.
