No Bake Chocolate Cheesecake

Anytime I see the words No Bake, I'm hooked. I don't have an aversion to baking, but the ease of No Bake definitely causes me to gravitate in that direction. I want to wow my friends and family when I prepare something for them and the ability to do it lickety split makes me very happy!

Ingredients
1 bag chocolate chips (next time I am going to get mini chips, due to the ease in melting)
2 blocks of cream cheese, softened
1/2 stick of butter, softened
1/2 c. powered sugar
1 t. vanilla
8 oz. whipped topping
Graham, Oreo or Shortbread crust

Combine cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla; blend until smooth. Set aside.
Melt approximately 3/4 of the chocolate chips, until smooth.
Add melted chocolate to the cream cheese mixture; mix until well combined.
Fold in the whipped topping until it is incorporated. Spoon into pie crust and top with remaining chocolate chips. Chill approx 4 hours before serving.

When serving, top with a dollop of whipped topping. By the way, I happened to look up the definition of dollop and was surprised to learn a dollop is 'a shapeless mass or blob of something.'  YUM...ha-ha!
