On a recent after school grocery run, the hubs inadvertently purchased Flaky Honey Butter Crescents instead of the classic variety. After dinner and a brief conversation that revealed his surprise that he had NOT bought regular rolls, I had to figure out what to do with the second can (yes, he bought two; I think there was a sale;) I set to studying on the problem (country term for thinking about it) when I had a vision that solved the issue...Honey Butter Baklava Crescent Rolls. It was easy really since the crescents already had the honey and butter flavors that define authentic Greek baklava. This re-working of the classic dessert - a long-time favorite, especially of the hubby's - was a great hit due to its authentic flavor and finger food handling. WIN!
