2-3 T. basil pesto
3-4 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
1 bulb garlic, separate cloves but do not remove the skins
1 onion, sliced
Place the onion slices in the bottom of the crock.
Place the garlic cloves (skin on) around the chicken.
Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
Remove chicken, garlic cloves and onions from crock with a slotted spoon. Place on server.

TIP - I wrapped 4 potatoes in foil and placed them in the crock on top of the chicken and cooked them right along with the rest of dinner. Afterward I had options...mashed or baked potatoes for a side dish? I opted for mashed and used the garlic to make Sour Cream - Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Mmmm!
