|Baked Mozzarella-Parmesan Meatballs..supper in a snap!|
2 jars/cans of favorite spaghetti sauce*
1 bag of frozen meatballs
1 bag of frozen peppers and onions
2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cup Parmesan cheese
*NOTE* - you can use 1 jar, but we like more sauce so we used 2.
Preheat oven to 400°F
I used my large spring form pan; you can use any oven ware dish that will hold the meatballs in a single layer.
Pour 1/2 the jar of sauce (or 1 entire jar, if using two for more sauce) into the bottom of the pan.
Pour the bag of meatballs over the sauce and arrange into a single layer.
Pour the bag of frozen peppers and onions over the meatballs.
Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes
Pour the 2nd half (or 2nd jar) of sauce over the pepper/onion/meatball layer.
Now top with the Mozzarella and the Parmesan cheese.
Bake for another 15 minutes (the internal temp of meatballs should be 165°F). If the cheese gets too brown cover with foil.
